Jackie Stasevich
My youth was spent in the hustle and bustle of metro Detroit city life, and after a great MSU college experience, I have enjoyed a lifetime career as a clinical laboratory microbiologist. Jobs brought me and my husband to rural Kalamazoo and a home in the wooded countryside. I took my first pottery class at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts in 1998 and instantly loved working in clay. Creating vessels that I could “paint” became my joy and as time has progressed, so has the complexity of the decoration that I incorporate into my pottery. My pots can be seen and purchased at my co-op studio at the Park Trades Center in downtown Kalamazoo Michigan or by contacting me at [email protected]
